We all have our battles that we’re fighting and a true champion isn’t just skilled in one aspect of her strength, but even the wisdom of her mind, and most especially how human her heart could be. 

Kim Jansen is the co-founder of Equity Institute and also founded Sisterhood nation, along with Brenda Ochoa. She had visions, far more than empowering every woman in every part of the globe, seeing all the communities and individuals across all margins thrown by inhumane societal practices, and also fighting for every person’s wellness, both physical and mental. 

Kim is a leader way ahead of her time and a teacher to students, kids, adults, and even professionals. She is a loving mother, sister, and wife to her family, friends, colleagues, and all other communities and spaces she’s been a part of. She’s a healer, who constantly brings an aura that grounds people and helps them be seen through their darkest of times, while also being an inspiration to everyone and help spread the message of love through well-discerned connections.

Kim is more than the fire that helps with the visions and dreams of Equity Institute. She can see every person in the room for who they are, feel their emotions and humanize, and always has her hand ready to hold anyone who is in need of help, may it be through words of wisdom, encouragement, support, and even silence. She is a fighter, harnessing the most humanizing practices and an advocate for creating customs that center on every person’s wellness, mental and physical.

There’s more to what Kim does in Equity Institute, but in her personal time, she loves to take long strolls by the beach, and watch people as they come and go in their everyday lives.
